Inspired by the various astrology signs, I will be working on one new astrology illustration each month featuring the appropriate zodiac sign. Each illustration will be inspired by concepts and ideas based in tarot, astrology and elemental signs for each star sign.
The completed illustrations are designed to be a more subtle nod to their respective star sign. The collective illustrations will take you on a journey through the seasons and the landscape in which they are set. They will work both as stand alone pieces and will create a larger story when together.
Lady of Justice (Libra) 23rd September - 22nd October Representing balance and harmony, Lady Libra walks through an almost perfectly symmetrical forest. She bears the weight of the scales on her quest for fairness and justice.
Shadow Siren (Scorpio) 23rd October - 21st November Scorpio is a water sign known for its intuition and deeply empathetic nature, often guided by instinct and gut feelings. This sign is strongly linked to the Death tarot card, a symbol of transformation, endings, and new beginnings, reflecting Scorpio’s capacity for profound change and rebirth. Scorpio is also associated with The Tower, which signifies sudden upheaval and awakening, as well as the 5, 6, 7, and King of Cups, which embody emotional depth, mastery, compassion, and the power to lead with empathy. Symbolized by creatures like scorpions, spiders, lizards, serpents, and wolves, Scorpio’s essence is further embodied by colors like deep reds, browns, and black, capturing its mysterious and powerful spirit.
